Wearing | August St bustier, Mink Pink dress worn as skirt & Fossil watch

Location | Avoca Beach, NSW

Since being home from Europe I’ve started to how you could say ‘cleanse my closet.’ For so long I have held onto pieces even though I know I will never wear it again. I’ve always been a hoarder of clothing, shoes, hats, and costume jewellery. But as I have gotten older, I’ve really come to appreciate the one of a kind pieces. Those that are less trendy and maybe slightly more expensive but will last more then one wash. I also started to steer clear of bright colours and prints, with the exception of a few pieces. I know a monochromatic colour palette can get boring at times but nothing makes you feel more fresh then #allwhiteerrythang.

In saying all of this you can still find designer pieces that aren’t designer prices, all it takes is hours online a little searching. I have never really paid much attention to August St in the past, but as I’ve grown so has the brand evidently. After browsing the latest collections I’ve fallen in love with a few pieces which you will be seeing over the next few weeks.
